Dr. Nathalie Shapiro, DAOM, L.Ac.
Integrative Women’s Health & Chinese Medicine
Dr. Nathalie Shapiro, L.Ac., DAOM is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and licensed acupuncturist specializing in women’s health, fertility, perinatal care, and holistic gynecology. Her work blends classical Chinese medicine, herbal therapeutics, and functional approaches to support hormonal balance, emotional well-being, and whole-body vitality.
Dr. Shapiro takes a deeply personalized approach to care, integrating careful listening, hands-on treatment, and evidence-informed medicine. She supports patients through all stages of womanhood with an emphasis on restoring balance, resilience, and connection to the body’s innate intelligence.

Dr. Aviva Shira Bernat, MD, CCEP.
Holistic and Integrative Medicine - Intuitive Energy Healing - Somatic Psychotherapy
Dr. Aviva is a board-certified Integrative and Holistic Medicine physician and Energy Healer with 28 years of experience weaving Western, Eastern, and Energetic healing traditions. Her advanced training encompasses Internal Medicine, Integrative and Holistic Medicine, and Pain, Palliative, and Hospice Medicine.
Dr. Aviva specializes in Women’s Health, Integrative Cancer Care, and Digestive and Autoimmune health, utilizing the pillars of Functional and Lifestyle Medicine in her patient care. As a certified Energy Healer and Somatic Therapist, she facilitates deep mind-body-spirit work focusing on health, relationships, life purpose, and healing inherited Ancestral burdens linked to intergenerational trauma.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Aviva carries the healing tradition forward as a teacher and co-founder of The Knowing Heart Institute for Intuitive Energy Healing.

Dr. Lisa Modera
Physical Therapy
Dr. Lisa Modera is a Holistic Physical Therapist, Certified Fascial Stretch Therapist, and Perinatal Pelvic Floor Specialist who integrates hands-on care, personalized movement, and whole-person healing. Her approach is informed by extensive clinical training in the fascial system, orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, and by her own lived experience navigating hypermobility and chronic pain. With a background rooted in her family’s physical therapy practice, she supports clients in restoring strength, stability, and ease of movement.

Ali Danch MSW, MPH
Social Work
Ali Danch holds Master’s degrees in Social Work and Public Health from UC Berkeley and works at the intersection of physical and mental health, helping people understand how their emotional and physiological experiences shape one another. With 20 years of experience as a clinician and health-behavior researcher, she now brings her expertise into a coaching practice that supports individuals through transition, healing, and personal growth. As a mother and community leader, she offers grounded, compassionate guidance informed by both evidence-based training and lived experience.

Physical Therapy
Dr. Charisse Balance, DPT, E-RYT specializes in perinatal pelvic health , sexual health and chronic pain. She artfully blends evidence-based physical therapy, the John Barnes Myofascial Release Approach®, and yoga to support optimal function and ease. Her work centers nervous system regulation, deep fascial release, and empowered embodiment.

Kristin Dahl
Holistic + Functional Nutrition
Kristin Dahl is a holistic nutritionist, herbalist, and women’s wellness practitioner whose teachings emanate from her extensive education in holistic healing, Ayurveda, herbal medicine, plant-based cooking, and functional nutrition. With 15 years of experience in the field, Kristin has consulted with countless clients struggling with their vitality, and, through her knowledge, skill, and aptitude for personal transformation, has helped guide them back to whole health. Her offerings include functional lab analysis, herbal support, and personalized healing protocols, with a focus on women’s health, digestion, fertility, postpartum recovery, and nervous system healing.

Lara Elliott, LAc
Licensed acupuncturist and herbalist
Lara Elliott is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist whose work is rooted in a deep devotion to Taoism, Kabbalah, and Zen Buddhism. Her holistic approach integrates Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, Reiki, Breathwork, CranioSacral therapy, Herbalism, Mindfulness, and Holistic Health Coaching. With nearly two decades of experience, she supports patients in addressing both physical and emotional imbalances, guiding them toward greater balance, resilience, and overall well-being.
She began her formal training in Chinese Medicine in New York City in 2011 and graduated from two renowned Master’s programs—Tri-State College of Acupuncture and Yo San University—becoming a bicoastal licensed practitioner. Lara is also a Reiki Master and teacher of over ten years, having trained students globally. Mentored by leading practitioners including Kiiko Matsumoto, Lorie Eve Dechar, Dr. Dao Ni, and Dr. Mark Seem, her clinical focus includes nervous system regulation, women’s health, pain relief, and natural beauty.

Dr. Haley Lehtola DO
Physician and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
Dr. Haley Lehtola, DO, is a licensed physician and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine who practices hands-on osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) and primary care for people of all ages from newborns to geriatrics. She approaches patients as a whole unit of mind, body, and spirit and uses OMM to help restore the body’s innate ability to heal.
In addition to completing medical school, Dr. Lehtola received her bachelors in nutritional science and metabolism from UC Berkeley and is a registered yoga teacher. She believes that the best care comes from combining evidence-based Western medicine with intuitive and individualized Eastern medicine practices.

Dr. Meghan Jain M.D.
Psychiatrist specializing in child, adolescent, and adult mental health
Dr. Meghan Jain, M.D. is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in child, adolescent, and adult mental health. She brings a thoughtful, integrative approach to her work—bridging evidence-based medicine with a deeper understanding of the emotional, relational, and environmental factors that shape well-being.
Dr. Jain completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California, where she studied Neuroscience, Philosophy, and Natural Science. She earned her medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, followed by residency training at the UCLA San Fernando Valley Residency Program. She went on to complete her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at UCLA Harbor Medical Center, where she served as Chief Fellow.
In addition to her medical training, Dr. Jain completed three years of study in herbal medicine through the School of the Sacred Wild, reflecting her longstanding interest in plant-based healing traditions and holistic frameworks of care.
Her clinical philosophy is rooted in the belief that healing is not one-size-fits-all. She takes the time to understand each patient within the full context of their life—family, environment, developmental history, and inner experience—creating care that is both precise and deeply personal. Her work emphasizes clarity, attunement, and a steady, collaborative therapeutic relationship. While her role within the clinic focuses on psychiatry, she values an integrative perspective and works thoughtfully alongside complementary modalities to support the whole person.
